Biflox 10%
Oral solution for veterinary use.
Target species: Poultry, piglets.

Composition
Each 1 mL contains enrofloxacin — 100 mg.
Excipients: potassium hydroxide, benzyl alcohol, distilled water.

Indications
For the treatment of colibacillosis, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis, streptococcosis, mycoplasmosis, necrotic enteritis and other infections caused by microorganisms susceptible to enrofloxacin in poultry and piglets. Also used for mixed infections and secondary bacterial infections associated with viral diseases.

Administration and dosage
Administer orally once daily:

• Piglets: 0.5 mL per 10 kg body weight for 3 days.
• Poultry: 0.1 mL/kg body weight or 500 mL per 1,000 L of drinking water for 3 days.
• For salmonellosis, mixed infections and chronic diseases in poultry: 1 L per 1,000 L of drinking water for 5 days.

Prepare the medicated solution according to daily water requirements and replace it every 24 hours. During treatment, provide only medicated drinking water in sufficient quantities.

Contraindications and special precautions
Do not use in laying hens or in cases of hypersensitivity to quinolones. Concurrent administration with chloramphenicol, macrolides or tetracyclines is not recommended.

Withdrawal period
Time between the last administration and slaughter for meat:

• Piglets: 14 days.
• Poultry: 11 days.

Store in a dry place, protected from sunlight, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
