
Kalsimin
Composition:
100 ml injectable solution contains:
Calcium gluconate – 45 g
Calcium glucoheptonate – 2 g
Calcium hypophosphite – 2 g
Calcium D-saccharate – 1 g
Magnesium chloride – 3 g
Calcimin is used for the prevention and treatment of conditions caused by hypocalcemia, such as paralysis, and for calcium deficiency in all domestic animals, pigs, and especially cattle.
It is indicated in the following cases:
Fever during calving and tetany during lactation
Hypomagnesemic convulsions and other diseases known as “grass tetany”
Rickets, osteomalacia, growth retardation or stunted growth in young animals
Reduced reproductive performance, allergies, intoxications, nervous system disorders (morbus maculosus, serum sickness, eclampsia, anaphylaxis, exanthema, hemorrhagic diathesis, hematuria, allergic reactions)
Metal poisoning (mercury, lead, copper, tin, cadmium), as well as poisoning caused by chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, organophosphorus insecticides, and food poisoning
Insect bites and other conditions requiring high intake of phosphorus and phosphates
Cattle (200–500 kg): 80–100 ml
Horses (200–500 kg): 80–100 ml
Sheep, goats (20–50 kg): 15–25 ml
Pigs (50 kg): 15 ml
