It is used to detect mastitis in cattle, sheep and goats.
The kit includes: diagnostic board and special test solution in 1 liter packaging.
Instructions for use: Place approximately 3 ml of milk from the quarter of each index finger in the corresponding segment of the diagnostic board. Add 3 ml of test solution to each section and mix.
A negative result occurs when the physical state of the mixture is unchanged.
In case of an unclear positive result, the mixture becomes somewhat viscous (cell count up to 1,500,000 ml); Distinctly slimy, with a significant increase in viscosity, this indicates up to 5,000,000 cells per ml. If the mixture becomes almost gel-like and clots form, this indicates a clear positive result of more than 5,000,000 cells per ml.
