Caffeine-Sodium Benzoate 20% Injectable Solution

A veterinary stimulant for the central nervous system, used in cattle, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs, and cats.

Composition:
Each 1 mL contains:

• Active ingredients: Caffeine — 80 mg, Sodium benzoate — 120 mg

• Excipients: Water for injection — up to 1 mL

Target species:
Cattle, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs, cats.

Indications for use:
The product is used to stimulate the central nervous system in horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs, and cats during general weakness, fatigue, poisoning (including by narcotic or sedative drugs), muscle weakness, post-partum paresis, and various diseases accompanied by depression of the central nervous, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems.
It is also indicated for weakened cardiac function, chronic myocarditis, myodystrophy, chronic myodegeneration, and as a vasodilator in cerebral, cardiac, renal vessel spasms and spastic conditions of the gastrointestinal tract (intestinal spasms).

Dosage and administration:
Administer subcutaneously or intramuscularly at the following doses (per animal):

• Cattle, horses: 10–25 mL

• Sheep, goats, pigs: 2–7 mL

• Dogs: 0.5–1.5 mL

• Cats: 0.2–0.5 mL

The dose and duration depend on the animal’s weight and condition. If necessary, administration may be repeated 2–3 times at 7-hour intervals.

Packaging:
20% injectable solution, 10 mL in colorless glass ampoules.
10 ampoules per cardboard box.

Storage conditions:
Store in a dry, dark place at temperatures up to +25°C.
Keep out of reach of children and animals.
