
Sultrim 480 – Oral Tablets for Veterinary Use
Target species: Cattle, small ruminants, carnivores, poultry.
Composition (per 1 tablet):
Sulfadimidine sodium – 400 mg
Trimethoprim – 80 mg
Indications for use:
Sultrim tablets are used for the treatment of infectious diseases in domestic animals caused by microorganisms sensitive to sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim.
Effective against:
Upper and lower respiratory tract infections
Gastrointestinal tract diseases
Urinary and genital infections
Secondary bacterial infections during viral diseases
Skin and soft tissue infections
Dosage and administration:
Administer orally with feed, milk, or water.
Cattle, small ruminants, carnivores, pigs, rabbits: 1 tablet (480 mg) per 15 kg body weight every 12 hours for 3–5 days.
Poultry:
Chicks (up to 1 week): ¼ tablet (120 mg) per 2 L of drinking water.
Broilers and pullets (1–8 weeks): ½ tablet (240 mg) per 2 L of water or per 1 kg of feed.
Laying hens (20+ weeks): ½ tablet (240 mg) per 1 L of water or ¾ tablet (360 mg) per 1 kg of feed.
Turkeys (5–20 weeks): ½ tablet (240 mg) per 1 L of water.
For water administration, dissolve the required dose in 100–150 mL of water to obtain a uniform suspension, then add to the total water volume.
Treatment should continue for 2 consecutive days after clinical signs disappear.
Packaging: 90 tablets in a polyethylene bottle.
Storage conditions: Store in a dry, dark place at a temperature not exceeding 20°C.
Shelf life: 3 years.
