Barrier Super Drops — Flea & Tick Protection for Dogs & Cats

Use:
Barrier Super Drops are formulated to protect dogs and cats from fleas and ticks at all life stages.

Description:
A transparent, oily liquid with a distinctive scent characteristic of its ingredients.

Composition (per 1 ml):

• Active ingredient: Fipronil – 80 mg

• Excipients: Propylene glycol, glycerin, isopropyl alcohol

Fipronil, a phenylpyrazole derivative, acts on the central nervous system of parasites without affecting the host. It blocks chloride ion transfer in GABA-dependent channels, causing neural disruption, overexcitation, and death of ectoparasites.

Indications:
Used for the prevention and treatment of infestations by:

• Fleas (Ctenocephalus spp.)

• Ticks (Dermacentor spp., Rhipicephalus spp., Ixodes spp.)

• Lice (Trichodectes canis, Felicola subrostratus)
  Also effective against ear mites (otodectosis).

Directions for Use:
Apply externally directly onto the skin in areas inaccessible to the animal (e.g., between the shoulder blades for dogs, at the nape of the neck for cats).

Dosage:

• Puppies and kittens: 0.5 ml

• Cats: 1 ml

• Dogs:

  • 2–10 kg: 1 ml

  • 10–20 kg: 2 ml

  • 20–40 kg: 3 ml

  • Over 40 kg: 4 ml

Contraindications:
Not to be used in animals with hypersensitivity to fipronil or other ingredients.
Avoid use in:

• Kittens under 12 weeks

• Puppies under 10 weeks

• Concurrent use with other insectoacaricides
  Not recommended for debilitated, elderly, pregnant, or lactating animals.

Storage:
Store in a dry, dark place at up to 25 °C.
Shelf life: 2 years.
