
Amoxicillin – Antimicrobial agent, antibiotic
Target species: Cattle, small ruminants, pigs, dogs, cats.
Composition: Amoxicillin (trihydrate) 150 mg; excipient up to 1 ml.
Indications for use:
Amoxicillin 15% LA is used for the treatment of infectious diseases in cattle, small ruminants, pigs, dogs, and cats, including:
Respiratory tract: rhinitis, pneumonia, bronchopneumonia
Gastrointestinal tract: diarrhea, enteritis, colibacteriosis, salmonellosis
Urogenital system: cystitis, endometritis, metritis, vaginitis, leptospirosis
Mastitis
Skin lesions, soft tissue and hoof diseases: necrobacteriosis, arthritis, abscess
Prevention of surgical and postoperative infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to amoxicillin.
Dosage form: 100 ml vial.
Method of administration and dosage:
Shake the vial well before use until a homogeneous suspension is obtained.
The therapeutic dose of Amoxicillin 15% LA for all indicated species is 1 ml per 10 kg body weight (15 mg/kg body weight), administered intramuscularly or subcutaneously, once.
If necessary, a repeated injection may be given after 48 hours.
Storage conditions: Store in a dry, light-protected place at 5–25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
