
Sultrim – Systemic Antimicrobial and Antibacterial Agent
Target species: Cattle, carnivorous animals.
Composition (per 1 g of powder):
Sulfadimidine sodium – 200 mg
Trimethoprim – 40 mg
Indications for use:
The preparation is used for the treatment of infectious diseases in domestic animals caused by microorganisms sensitive to sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim.
Effective against:
Upper and lower respiratory tract infections
Gastrointestinal diseases
Urinary and genital infections
Secondary bacterial infections during viral diseases
Skin and soft tissue infections
Dosage and administration:
Administer orally mixed with feed or diluted in drinking water as follows:
Cattle, carnivores, pigs: First day – 1 g per 10 kg body weight or 750 g per 1000 L of drinking water, twice daily. Continue once daily for 3–5 days.
Poultry and rabbits: First day – 1 g per 1 L of drinking water, then 0.5 g/L for the next 2–3 days.
Packaging: 250 g silver polyethylene sachet.
Storage conditions: Store in a dry, dark place at a temperature not exceeding 20°C.
Shelf life: 3 years.
